[bug] Merging dependency PRs using the Github UI fails to merge properly #1208
Description
Last week we had an issue when merging our weekly bundled dependency updates. This has been specific to file-assets where we click the merge button and receive this error:
This has now happened again this week. Here is the two PR's in question:
In both cases when we click merge, we get the "check for the ability to merge automatically" indefinitely as shown here.
The PR will stay in the open state yet the PR still gets merged to master. We are still unsure why this occurs
