Additional information

I upgraded all installed package with pkg upgrade. Now python is upgraded to 3.13.
I have a program that uses a precompiled .so file that is linked to libpython3.12.so so I've to install python3.12 but not available. There's only 3.11 and older

there is secretly still Python 3.12 in Termux!!

Here is how to get it:

pkg upgrade
pkg install awscli build-essential
cat > python3.12.c << 'EOF'
int Py_BytesMain(int argc, char **argv);
int main(int argc, char **argv) {
    return Py_BytesMain(argc, argv);
}
EOF
clang python3.12.c \
    -l:libpython3.12.so.1.0 \

For me it works:

~ $ ./python3.12

If you have a precompiled program needing libpython3.12.so (and so can't recompile it using my example method with clang command), Try this:

ln -sf $PREFIX/lib/aws-cli/libpython3.12.so.1.0 $PREFIX/lib/libpython3.12.so

No, it causes segmentation fault. It needs an actual python3.12 binary
