Could Termux support terminal protocol extensions?

I was have some problems with rebinding C-/ and C-[ in a text editor (specifically Helix) - the latter is recognized ss Esc, probably on a more fundamental level, so I cannot rebind it. I found that it's due to the terminal protocol. Some terminal emulators have extensions for that, for example Kitty had a nice set of docs on that:

Is it possible to support things like that in Termux at some point down the line?
