What happened?

Looks like it is no longer possible to login to TeslaMate using the mentioned 3rd party tools. I am getting this error before I can even login to the Tesla site: The 'redirect_uri' supplied is not registered for this 'client_id'.

Expected Behavior

The Tesla login site should be opened with in input form for username and password

2. Download the Windows/Desktop tool
3. Open it
4. Observe the error page

I fixed thus in my fork of tesla_auth and submitted a PR

this works for me, thanks a lot

on archlinux I had to link the xdotool lib

sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libxdo.so.4 /usr/lib/libxdo.so.3

switching to:

sso_base_url='tesla://auth'

doesn't help, it won't allow it

I was using the mentioned fork of tesla_auth https://github.com/GewoonJaap/tesla_auth to get new tokens

i was able to use https://github.com/GewoonJaap/tesla_auth
to authenticate

then use a refresh token with:

import teslapy
with teslapy.Tesla('elon@tesla.com') as tesla:
    if not tesla.authorized:
        tesla.refresh_token(refresh_token=input('Enter SSO refresh token: '))
    vehicles = tesla.vehicle_list()
    print(vehicles[0])
