Request for Java 6 compatability

As this project is meant only to be a wrapper, I suppose it is reasonable to ask if you can make it Java 6 compatable.

The reason why I'd like it to be Java 6 compatible, is that Tesseract has a lot of fans on Android, and as far as I know the majority of developers still use a Java 6-derivative for android code.

Also it doesn't seem that you are actively using anything from Java 7 or Java 8 here.
