Build flag for update checks

When texstudio is build for linux package manager, there is generally a central update service available.
Is there a build option to compile texstudio without the additional integrated automated update check?

No, the idea is to improve distro packaging by disabling application specific update checks when this is supposed to be handled by package managers.
