modid-1.0.jar makes Minecraft fail to start.

modid-1.0.jar is configured incorrectly and makes the game launch with the error: "Mod examplemod requires minecraft 1.16.4 or above, and below 1.17. Currently, minecraft is 1.17.1"

I do not know how to fix this, and I want to test the chroma integration on 1.17.1, however this bug prevents me from doing so.

it loads for me, as long as im using the right version. make sure you downloaded the 1.17.1 mdk and not the 1.16.4 one.
