Dragging windows puts a lot of strain on the CPU

TGUI windows heavily load the processor when they are moved (according to reviews, consumption increases by about 4 times), while windows' internal optimization settings do not work on windows, displaying the window with a frame without content when moving

Please make sure that either the internal Windows settings work with TGUI windows and do not display their contents when moving, or they always do not display the contents, or they are optimized so as not to load the processor.

Can you clear your byond WebView2 cache for a test and make sure that there's not a lot of chat storage in use and then repeat? I'm curious if that is actually the byond store json reads / writes.

Tgui say is one of the uis that is certainly accessing the store on every move...

I don't understand what "isn't projecting a byond window into the UI" means, but when I move other windows in the operating system - I have a setting that hides the contents of the window when moving and the movement itself, no matter how intense it is, doesn't cause CPU load

Windows working similarly inside the byond and its client (not on the TG station) also don't load the CPU if they hide their contents when moving from the internal settings of the operating system.

the character pref menu is unique in that it creates a game window on the browser. it's an added variable, so the added tests help me narrow it down. thanks!
