PR #1146 is blocked due to that @matrix-org/matrix-sdk-crypto-nodejs does not work on arm64 musl linux. So alpine is out of the question for now due to that we build for both amd64 and arm64 at the same time.
We want Alpine but we also want to keep our commitment to supporting arm64 in addition to amd64 even though the current dev team no longer runs arm64 systems.
