Cross framework JSON serialization errors not fixed by CrossFrameworkSerialization assembly redirection methods

Describe the bug
I'm trying to set up a server on .NET Framework 4.7.2 and a client on .NET Core 9.0 and am hitting a JSON deserialization type error with types like System.String.

I stumbled upon CrossFrameworkSerialization and added these calls into the main method. Unfortunately, I'm still getting the error.

Server: .NET Framework 4.7.2
In Main method: CrossFrameworkSerialization.RedirectPrivateCoreLibToMscorlib();

Client: .NET Core 9.0
In Main method: CrossFrameworkSerialization.RedirectMscorlibToPrivateCoreLib();

I tried placing this call at beginning of Main methods as well as after Start()/Connect(), but I couldn't get it working.

Another issue I noticed is the client hangs infinitely when this error on the server occurred. (Is this expected?)

Expected behavior
Compatibility between frameworks. I came across #35 and it seems CrossFrameworkSerialization should fix this.

RPC Method: async Task<OperationResult> RunOperationAndPollForResultsAsync(OperationRequest request)

Note: OperationRequest has a property with a Dictionary<string, string>. OperationRequest and OperationResult are in a shared class library targeting .NET Standard 2.0.
