[Bug] Website Sign-in Redirects to GitHub 404 Instead of Authorization Flow

Summary

Clicking the "Sign in" button on the frontendchecklist site redirects to a GitHub 404 page instead of initiating the GitHub OAuth authorization flow. This completely blocks user authentication.

Environment

• Browser: Chromium
• OS: MacOS Tahoe 26.1

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to https://frontendchecklist.io
2. Click the "Sign in" button (top right of navigation)
3. 404 Page opens up

I investigated the issue and opened PR #723 with a proposed fix.

The root cause appears to be Better Auth adding default OAuth scopes when the application is configured as a GitHub App (Iv1.* client IDs). GitHub Apps don't support dynamic scope parameters, which results in the authorization failure reported here.
