Should? Who says so? I already stated in that issue that this can be done with an environment variable. I don't think adding or removing public domains is a frequent activity that needs to be controlled from the admin page. I'll give it more thought though, when I decide to implement it. |

There's an issue reported here: #861 which references #494 from years ago indicating that this was planned future functionality at the time, but I don't see an idea/discussion about this presently.
Domains added in the admin portal are not available to anyone. This might be a bug or the "add domain" feature in the admin portal might only be intended to allow the admin to ban domains. But if that is the case, then why give the option to add a domain with the "banned" checkbox unchecked? It doesn't seem like you can create a link from the admin portal like you can with users or domains, so not even the admin can use it.
Adding an additional domain by going to the Admin Portal > Domains should make it available to all users OR there should be a way for admins to add links directly so that at least they can use the custom domain they created directly.
