Description
Services operating on a similar architectural tier could be clustered close to each other.
For example, "storage" (e.g. database, file/block storage) could be clustered together, separate from "messaging" (e.g. queues, topics, event buses), again separate from "compute" (e.g. application logic, ML).
Could involve GraphViz ranks, perhaps?
