AMW Keeps switching serial ports

Arduino Zero's and other SAMD21 boards disconnect briefly and switch to a different com port for upload. After the upload, they disconnect again, but for a while longer. After hitting refresh in the serial monitor, it usually pops up fairly quickly.

AMW keeps changing the serial port to another port after it sees the port you previously had selected is missing. The Zero will reconnect to the computer moments later under its original com port. When you go to upload a fresh batch of buggy code, the you have to first go back to the menu and manually switch it back to the port you had it on.

I am not sure how I can improve the user experience through the extension.
I have added a setting in the extension that is currently available to disable the automatic port detection.
