[Carousel] Arrows aren't working on Arc on macOS

Steps to reproduce

1. Go to https://www.flowbite-react.com/docs/components/carousel
2. Click on arrows

Current behavior

Steps at the bottom change but the images dont. Sliding on images by clicking and dragging works

Expected behavior

Images to switch like you would with the motion slide

Context

• Trying to implement locally and getting the same result

Is it a specific example in the docs or is it happening for every example?

@sergical That is not a bug!
the carousel is auto sliding and if you do click on the sides button(prev one) repeatedly, in some point of Time these two opposite events happen simultaneously.
To prevent this from happening use pauseOnHover option when using Carousel component.

@paghar that means the arrows would work in the static example - which they don't?

Any updates here? The issue still persists, auto sliding is also not working while it shows that the slides are changing on the indicator. The only thing working on carousel is when sliding the slides manually.

@PanTrakX I'm not sure I understand. I don't have any of the issues you are describing.

If someone can provide their specific local setup (browser, OS, etc.) where they're having either of the following issues:

• Static carousel doesn't change slide on manual arrow click
• Default carousel doesn't automatically change slides on an interval

We can dive into that, but I can't reproduce these issues on any browser.

Also browser is Arc (chromium based) and OS is macOS Sonoma.

Just tested on Safari and Firefox and it looks like its working, on Chrome and Arc (chromium based) it doesn't work so might be an issue only with chromium based browsers (only on macOS?).

I don't have any issues on Brave, Chromium or Google Chrome on latest macOS. I believe you are having an issue, but I don't really understand how one subset of Chromium could be having this issue and no other configuration is. I'm not sure how we can resolve that.

I'll keep this open for now in case anyone else can also confirm or deny whether each Chromium distro works on macOS, but even then, again, I'm not really sure what code change we would need to make to fix that.

I have the same Problem. It does not work on Arc and Chrome, but it works fine in Firefox. Im also on the latest Os and Browser Versions. I didnt find any solution for that. It could still be possible, that its a problem on my side.

Edit: Okay I could reproduce the issue. I deleted my Cache, restarted Chrome and the flowbite-react website Carousel did work again. After that i refreshed the Page and it stopped working. I went to inspect the Devtools and in that Mode it worked again. So i refreshed the Page and it stopped working again, even in devtools. I dont know if thats helpful.
