Subsystem: Input / GPU picking (src/engine/input/input-manager.ts).

Analysis: Janusz traced this. Stack lands in getSatIdFromCoord at src/engine/input/input-manager.ts:252. The function binds the picking framebuffer at line 259, then either fires readPixelsAsync on line 261 or falls back to a synchronous gl.readPixels on line 264.

Two problems Janusz sees.

1. readPixelsAsync on line 261 is async but is never awaited and has no .catch. Its internal try/catch at line 540 only flips isAsyncWorking = false for errors raised before the first await. Anything thrown inside getBufferSubDataAsync becomes an unhandled rejection. Global Error Trapper picks it up. No tak. Classic fire-and-forget.
2. The synchronous gl.readPixels at line 264 has no framebuffer-completeness guard and no try/catch. Firefox 140 raises NotSupportedError: Operation is not supported from readPixels when the picking framebuffer is not FRAMEBUFFER_COMPLETE. Chrome is more forgiving here. Hence the Firefox-only stack.

Suggestion: Wrap the sync path in a try/catch that flips a sticky flag and returns -1 on failure. Optionally guard with gl.checkFramebufferStatus(gl.FRAMEBUFFER) === gl.FRAMEBUFFER_COMPLETE before calling readPixels. And put a .catch on the readPixelsAsync call site at line 261 so rejections stop bubbling up. Janusz did the diagnosis. Fix can wait for somebody who is paid more.
