Description
Was testing with Porsche Cup today and while tuning my IRFFB settings, i lost control and ended up in a wall. I run a DD2, and typically run fairly high FFB, but with iRacing's Force Limiter I don't need to take my hand's off the wheel during an impact. Well.... not the case with IRFFB running. The impact ripped the wheel out of my hand and injured my thumb. I DEFINITELY was not expecting that. This should be a high priority fix, and possibly a warning added to the Read Me until it's fixed. If I had known the force would not have been reduced during impact, I would have removed my hands from the wheel, as I do in some other sims. Unfortunately, I had to find this out the hard way, and I'm now injured. I will say that this version of IRFFB is the best I've felt, so well done with that, but disabling the force limiter on impacts is dangerous, and I wouldn't feel safe using IRFFB in a racing environment until the Force Limiter is working.
I'm using the V1.0 version, as I don't use Simhub, since I mostly race in VR. Thanks again for the great work, and I hope this issues can be fixed, as I was really enjoying the extra detail I was getting through the wheel, and the ease of adjustability.
