Steps to reproduce

I use live.com (microsoft) and gmail.com for mail. When i click on gmail it only takes 1-2 sec to load old mail and fetch new mail. I click on live and it may load old mail (may take a few sec or many) or may not load at all. Same with fetch new mail, it may take 30 sec or it may never load new mail. The more i jump between gmail and live, the linger it takes. Soon, not always the same amount of time, i will be reading something in live (it may have loaded all the way and it may have only loaded part way) K-9 will crash. Not always while reading usally while its yrying to fetch new mail from live. Fetching junk goes just fine.

Expected behavior

It should work with live.com the same as it did in V17, with no problems. I dont know why it suddenly should, still works just fine with gmail.

I see several OOM (out of memory) failures in your log. It would be interesting to see some memory profiling from your phone to see which apps are using up memory.

If u can tell me an easy way to do that ill b glad to b able to look into it. Seems like something is messing with it but i dont know what. Im careful about installs/clicks, (seasoned professional) and 2 scanners (3 if u count google) show nothing. Im not an Android guy so would i need to profile each app or is there an easier way? This is the only app having issues.

K-9 was just upgraded to V19 0. Live.com seems to be a little more responsive. But the problem still persists and it is only when I am trying to read mail from the inbox on the live account. When this seemed like it took a little bit longer while I was fiddling around in the program before it crashed this morning.

Update: v19.0 Debug log has an updated crash message. Talks about fragmented memory and stuff. Basically goes into a very little bit of more info about why its running out of memory. Looks like im only using 6.6 of 12 GB of phone RAM. With ~20 GB storage left. Even after i clear the cache it fills up (1.2 GB) as soon as i reopen the program, it doesnt even have enough time to dl that much data! How can it cache what it doest get? Ill stop here for now and let you catch up.

This is the last one. I did put the folder size down to just 500 and now ill restart my phone and see how things go.
It does look a lot like the issue from #11069. I'm not a programmer so I wasn't searching for the right phrasing I guess.
