Soft reboot after installing a module

I have updated OverlayFS Metamodule to 1.3.1. Now when I'm installing my module a soft reboot occurs (system_server restarts). I don't know, if it's a bug or new behavior, but I need to be able to reboot manually.

To Reproduce

1. Update OverlayFS Metamodule to 1.3.1.
2. Install this module. (carefully, it replaces services.jar. Your device won't boot)
   notitle_audio.zip

Expected behavior

After installing the module it just suggests to reboot.

This doesn't seems to be KernelSU issue, especially denoting what you mentioned system_server crashes, and looking at the module logic, it looks like it's module's fault and not KSU.

Sorry for not updating the issue. I never returned to the new KernelSU. I decided to stick with an older (pre-metamodule) version.
But as I remember the soft reboot was occurring during the module updating, not the first install. This could mean that the updating somehow affects currently overlayed services.jar (maybe I'm wrong, but I can't find another explanation for this), since removing services.jar from the module fixed the installation.
P.S. I never used new KernelSU versions after opening the issue.

To be able to test the module on your device, try to replace services.jar with your ROM's stock one. Everything else in it should be safe.

how can you be sure that the updated module (from remote side) isn't faulty already? did you try installing the updated module and check if the issue can be produced?

This is my own "collective" module for my device. By "updating" I meant installing the module over the already installed one. Even if it's the same version without any changes. The presence of services.jar in it causes the soft reboot (system_server restart).

i meant the logic, its "replacement of services.jar that could've been the fault" but since you confirmed the installation of same module over itself, this changes everything
