4 LEDs keep flashing

So I have an old wiimote as shown,

In the phone Bluetooth settings, it showed connected as shown

,but the LEDs on the wiimote keep flashing non stop, as shown

I tried disconnect and reconnect several times but didn't work.

Btw my phone specs are shown below,

Update:
Successful connected on my old oppo phone!!
But cannot control anything with it, I tried setting up the controller in ppsspp, didn't worked, but the wiimote is connected though, is there any solution or explanation for this?

Btw my old oppo phone is on lineage 16.0(Android 9) the model is oppo f1

Just want to second this first issue, whilst using a Samsung Tab S2-- the LEDs never stop flashing, and the Wiimote cannot be used. Fingers crossed that this can be remedied! ^_^

Same flashing loop on my Poco X3 Pro using Android 13 (CrDroid LineAgeOS fork)

During an internship I learned the protocol of the Wiimote, and basically when the LEDs keep flashing that means no reports have been written to (the LEDs are set by the software). It doesn't mean it can't be used, it only means the connection is very unreliable, which is strange because in 1 week I was able to get buttons, accelerometer and Nunchuk working flawlessly...
