Home Assistant - "Failed to connect"

I've been trying to integrate this with Home Assistant and I'm constantly getting the error "Failed to connect".

The details I'm using in the HA Integration Config are:

Host: 192.168.1.83 (My PC's local IP, where System Bridge is running)
Port: 9170
API Key: XXX (python -m systembridgecli api-key)

Any help would be appreciated!

The 3.x.x application required a rewrite of the Home Assistant integration

The next version of Home Assistant will support the System Bridge 3.x.x

This will be released on the first wednesday of July

unfortunately, after the update in HA core-2022.7.3 still not able to connect. Always ask for api-key.

After update to 2022.7.5 still no change.

Hey just curious there been some updates to the code repository recently. How do I actually update the code? I'll to try again and see if I can get a connection success. My last issue was that it just wasn't accepting my token in HA. Thank you all for your work!

To update, run the same command as installing, making sure to include --upgrade:

ran the command to upgrade and this was the final result:

Successfully installed pyinstaller-5.2 sanic-ext-22.6.2 systembridgebackend-3.4.1 systembridgecli-3.4.1 systembridgefrontend-3.4.1 systembridgegui-3.4.1 systembridgeshared-3.4.1 systembridgewindowssensors-3.4.1 typer-0.6.1

remade the API key and starrted the service.
HA again autodiscovered no problem, but its not accepting the API token when I submit...says failed to connect.

Have any other suggestions I can try?

btw, after reading the PR, I was able to access the web interface of System Bridge using the URL below and with my proper API Key and IP address and can see that it is indeed working!

192.168.1.7:9170/app/data.html?apiKey=[guid]&apiPort=9170

I assume its just on the HA side now that you working on getting that bug fixed....great cheers
