w and b don't work properly

When I use w to go forward a word, my cursor goes to the end of the line

and when I use b to go back a word, my cursor goes to the beginning of the line.

Am I missing something from my configuration, or is this a bug that needs to be fixed?

I have this issue too. I'm on Chrome MacOS Version 133.0.6943.142 (Official Build) (arm64).

Motions don't seem to be properly detected, ie w goes tothe end of the line, ciw or cw changes the entire line, ...

Nothing is printed in console.log.

Same problem on Sequoia 15.3.1 (24D70), Chrome Version 142.0.7444.176 (Official Build) (arm64). w goes to the end of the line and b to its beginning. Thank you for the extension!

A fix has been implemented by @Jannoshh 19ce2e3.
The update (v1.3.1) has been submitted to chrome web store for review. It should get approved in a day or two.
You can test the fix right now by loading the extension locally.
Since I don't have a Mac, I could not test the fix thoroughly. Please help by letting me know if the the issue is fixed or not.

I loaded the extension locally. I can confirm that b works and moves the cursor to the beginning of the word if the cursor is in the middle of the word, and to the beginning of the previous word if the cursor is on the beginning of a word, same as in vim.
w currently moves the cursor to the end of the current word, not the beginning of the next word.
Thank you for the fix, this still helps a lot @Jannoshh. I will try to look at as well in the upcoming days if I find the time.
