 Trying to load a sf2 file with asfxload returns "sfxload: no memory left" 

This bus has been reported on Ubuntu Launchpad time ago but still affects all emu10k1 owners who seem to be still in a relevant number.

It seems that a kernel patch could resolve it. It would be great if a userspace workaround could be added in asfxload for this.
