Dropbox Folder Access instead of Full Access

Hi,
I was disappointed to see that todotxt asks for full access to the Dropbox account. Isn't it possible to enable either folder or specific access instead of full access?

I guess the caveat is that apps folders cannot be shared with other Dropbox users. It would still be good to have an option for users to choose Folder only access - even if that means they cannot share their list with other users through dropbox...
