Hello! There are companies using Tolgee that way. I believe the right way would be to split your data to namespaces (new namespace for each product), then you can embrace the CDN feature and get the localized product information from the CDN fast on the client side. The other way would be to use REST API to fetch localization data, it definitely is possible. If you are missing some endpoint, don't hesitate to specify it and we might be open to add it for you. |

Hi guys,
do you think it is possibile to use Tolgee as a "translation database" for something like an ecommerce? Not for the app itself (where i can use tolgee to manage translations and then a file where i can store all of them) but for the content, like the product name and descriptions translations.
In this scenario my idea is to retrieve the translation (already saved in Tolgee) using the key and the language dynamically when needed.
I've tried to self-host the platform and doing some tests, but seems like the API are not designed for a use like this.
Do you think it is possible to use Tolgee in this way?
