Crafting Manager Default Satellite ID Conflict

I'm trying to override a "Default Satellite ID" using a Crafting Manager Pipe. The satellite is connected to the machine, and it works great, except when I want one item to go to a different satellite. The "Default" seems to override this, even when using the advanced upgrade.

Update: it looks like restarting the game eventually fixed this
