Just found this a year later, but this was a great read. A lot of parallels to my own career, especially the parts about growth, uncertainty, and being intentional about the next step. I’m going through some career uncertainty myself right now, so this landed at the right time.

It also made me think I should be more intentional about participating in the MacAdmins Slack community when I can. Balancing career and family makes that hard sometimes, but this was a good reminder that community matters.

Timing is such a weird thing, as I'm actually writing a follow up to this post for a year in review.

Many well wishes through the uncertainty, and I hope doing a career audit helps you look backwards and forward at the same time! And yes, I highly encourage you to participate in the MacAdmins Slack. You dont have to be in there daily, many people come in every few months, say a few things, and disappear again. Others are near permanent fly on the wall observers. Its a resource to make use however it works best for you!
