Permalink settings won't save when Advanced Custom Fields Extended plugin is installed

I've noticed I'm unable to update permalink settings. When pressing save, the page refreshes back to the settings before I modified anything.

I have discovered via trial and error that it relates to the Advanced Custom Fields Extended plugin being installed.

Any idea on how we can get a fix for this implemented?
