api/v2/analytics/species/summary seems to be missing recent detections

Description

Running the latest nightly build, and it looks like this api call doesn't include some recent detections. For instance, the dashboard is reporting Bluebirds, but the API call doesn't list them in the species summary. I noticed this because I'm using this in a home assistant markdown card. I have migrated my database. This may be related to other ongoing API issues (such as 2191)

Looking at your support dump, you're on nightly-20260315 which doesn't include the fix for this yet.

The root cause is the SummaryLimit bug fixed in #2362. After the dashboard layout migration, the old Dashboard.SummaryLimit field gets zeroed out but the datastore code still reads from it as a fallback. This makes GORM do a Limit(0) query which returns nothing. Your API logs confirm it: /api/v2/analytics/species/daily returns 0 results with 0ms latency because the query short-circuits before even hitting the database. The dashboard itself works fine because the frontend passes ?limit=30 explicitly, so it bypasses the broken server-side default.

Your /api/v2/analytics/species/summary endpoint is actually returning 124 species according to the logs, so that one seems to be working. If you notice missing species there too after updating, let me know and I can dig into it.

The fix is already merged to main. I'll cut a new nightly shortly, update to that and this should be resolved.
