Compatibility with Opencloud - anything in mergerfs options?

I started looking into Opencloud as a replacement for nextcloud for file sync. It doesn't use a DB so it's was looking like it might be a bit smaller foot print on my system.

As a crossover migration I mapped my user docs which are held in my mergerfs pool to my user and then started getting stub files created, but it would never complete. Or if I tried to delete a file using the UI it would fail. I couldn't get a lot on information to the underlying commands that was failing.

Are there any options I might be able to trying for mergerfs, or logging from either opencloud to see if the issue can be worked though? So i know this is quite open ended, and is it worth the effort. I'm not really sure.

If you don't already know what to look for the easiest thing is for me to setup opencloud and debug on my own. That said it would be helpful for you to provide details of your setup as a starting point.
