Install via spack fails on Kubuntu 22.04

I followed the steps from the readme, just now:

git clone https://github.com/spack/spack.git ~/spack
source ~/spack/share/spack/setup-env.sh
spack install hohqmesh@main

the last step has the following output throws the following errror:

the normal installation with make from the downloaded release tarball works well!

Thanks for reporting. Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce. I tried on Ubuntu 20.04 (GCC 10.5) and 24.04 (GCC 13.2). It seems to me like the issue is not with installing HOHQMesh but the build step on your machine fails for gmake. Thus my assumption would be that this is actually an upstream issue for spack rather than HOHQMesh. If you think differently, it would be great if you could let me know how you think we can help to fix it.

What does your compilers.yaml file look like. Usually this is under $HOME/.spack/
