App Name
DDNS-Updater
Current Version (TrueNAS Catalog App Version)
1.3.7
Enhancement Description
I waited for the Release of the new version on GitHub, only to discover that you cannot configure the new provider in the Truenas UI. I tinkered a bit by myself and added some stuff to get it to a point where i could enter all the required fields without an immidiate error message. In the end it showed me the log in the container liek unkown provider which i could not fully solve. It was restarting in a loop at this point.
The fields for the config are here: https://github.com/qdm12/ddns-updater/blob/master/docs/ipv64.md
Use Case
This would be in line with the latest release of the App itself making it useable as intended by the devs.
Proposed Solution
There needs to be a new configuration added for this. Maybe there is something in the healthchecks to do as well.
Alternatives Considered
Like i described: I tried it myself with no success.
Additional Context
No response
