SESSION TRIGGER (AUTO-START)

Reading this file is authorization to start immediately. Do not ask for permission to begin.

CURRENT MISSION: NO RUNTIME FCOS HEAD IS CURRENTLY RESOLVED; KEEP THIS REPO IN MIRROR-ONLY / OPERATOR-DIRECTED POSTURE

The live runtime-resolved FCOS queue currently resolves to none (cd ~/ai-society/holdingco/governance-kernel && just fcos-runnable | jq -r '.[0].id // "none"'). The current live cross-repo FCOS wave is FCOS-M47-01 elsewhere, and the preserved next cross-repo follow-on is FCOS-M48-01 in triage; neither currently resolves to core/tpl-template-repo as a runnable head. This repo's recent template-side FCOS carriers were FCOS-M43-01, FCOS-M44-01, and FCOS-M45-01, which closed through repo-local AK slices #738, #820, #821, #851, #281, and #791; do not reopen them for mirror-only work. Re-run the FCOS resolver first. If it still returns no runnable head, only fall back to the repo-local ready queue when the operator explicitly asks for backlog work here.

RUNTIME-RESOLVED PRIORITY / NEXT ISSUE

  • CURRENT PRIORITY (query, do not hardcode):
    • cd ~/ai-society/holdingco/governance-kernel && just fcos-runnable
  • Next issue resolver (same command, mirror-only):
    • cd ~/ai-society/holdingco/governance-kernel && just fcos-runnable | jq -r '.[0].id // "none"'
  • Last synced runtime-resolved FCOS issue id (mirror-only, rerun the resolver instead of trusting this line):
    • none
  • Last synced runtime-resolved FCOS repo set (mirror-only, rerun the resolver instead of trusting this line):
    • none
  • Anti-drift cadence policy:
    • loop-owned via ~/ai-society/holdingco/governance-kernel/governance/fcos/loops-registry.json plugin loop.fcos.drift.audit

SESSION CHECKPOINT (UPDATE BEFORE /commit)

  • Work package executed this session:
    • Attended repo-local AK task #794 and determined it had already been implemented and committed via 2618656 (fix(check-l0): tune slow-runner timeout orchestration), then revalidated the landed behavior on current HEAD without reopening the code slice.
  • Outcome:
    • Confirmed scripts/check-l0.sh still resolves timeout / gtimeout, reports the effective timeout policy, budgets check-l0-generation above the base timeout, and aborts remaining heavyweight checks after a timeout while staying fail-closed.
    • Verified the forced-timeout negative path still behaves as intended: L0_CHECK_TIMEOUT_SECONDS=1 bash ./scripts/check-l0.sh times out check-l0-generation, marks the aggregate run failed, and skips later heavyweight checks instead of creating a false green.
    • Re-ran the original focused validations (check-l0-generation, check-l0-adversarial, check-l0-fixtures) and confirmed the full bash ./scripts/check-l0.sh gate now passes cleanly on current HEAD.
    • Captured the operational closeout in diary/2026-04-06--ops-task-794-timeout-orchestration-closeout.md and recorded validation:ak-task-794-reverify = pass in the society evidence ledger.
    • Re-ran cd ~/ai-society/holdingco/governance-kernel && just fcos-runnable and confirmed the live FCOS resolver still returns [] / none, so this repo should remain mirror-only / operator-directed unless the operator explicitly selects backlog work here.
  • Validation run:
    • cd ~/ai-society/holdingco/governance-kernel && just fcos-runnable
    • L0_CHECK_TIMEOUT_SECONDS=1 bash ./scripts/check-l0.sh (expected fail-closed timeout path)
    • bash ./scripts/check-l0-generation.sh
    • bash ./scripts/check-l0-adversarial.sh
    • bash ./scripts/check-l0-fixtures.sh
    • bash ./scripts/check-l0.sh

    • diary/2026-04-06--ops-task-794-timeout-orchestration-closeout.md
    • next_session_prompt.md
  • Blockers / follow-up:
    • Re-run cd ~/ai-society/holdingco/governance-kernel && just fcos-runnable before starting another session; the live resolver currently returns none, so operator direction should choose the next slice explicitly.
    • In this repo, treat repo-local tasks #738, #820, #821, #851, #281, #791, and #794 as closed implementation slices unless the operator explicitly requests a follow-on change.
  • Rollback path (mirror-only correction):
    • git restore -- next_session_prompt.md diary/2026-04-06--ops-task-794-timeout-orchestration-closeout.md
  • KES crystallization flow:
    • Capture in diary/YYYY-MM-DD--type-scope-summary.md
    • Crystallize to docs/learnings/
    • Propagate meta patterns to tips/meta/
