Formulas for Calculations

1. Usable Weight (kg)

Usable Weight = Weight (kg) - Production Lost Weight (kg)

2. Avg Cost per kg (Based on Total Weight)

Avg Cost/kg = Cost / Weight (kg)

3. Average Weight per UoM (Based on Total Weight)

Average Weight per UoM = Weight (kg) / Qty

Example Calculation

Given Inputs:

• UoM: Bag
• Qty: 10
• Weight: 50 kg
• Production Lost Weight: 5 kg
• Cost: $200

Step 1: Compute Usable Weight

Usable Weight = 50 - 5 = 45 kg

Step 2: Compute Avg Cost/kg

Avg Cost/kg = 200 / 50 = 4.00 USD/kg

Step 3: Compute Average Weight per UoM

Average Weight per UoM = 50 / 10 = 5.0 kg per bag

Final Computed Values

• Usable Weight (kg): 45 kg
• Avg Cost/kg: $4.00 per kg
