Whether you are contributing new HR skills, improving documentation, fixing bugs, reviewing pull requests, or participating in discussions, we expect all interactions to remain professional, constructive, and inclusive.
We welcome contributors regardless of age, disability, ethnicity, gender identity or expression, level of experience, education, nationality, race, religion, sexual orientation, or any other personal characteristic.
Examples of behavior that help build a positive community include:
- Being respectful and professional in discussions.
- Providing constructive feedback with the goal of improving the project.
- Welcoming contributors of all experience levels.
- Respecting different viewpoints and approaches to solving problems.
- Taking responsibility for mistakes and learning from feedback.
- Focusing discussions on improving HR Skills and its ecosystem.
Examples of unacceptable behavior include:
- Harassment, discrimination, or hateful conduct.
- Personal attacks, insults, or inflammatory comments.
- Trolling or intentionally disrupting discussions.
- Publishing another person's private information without permission.
- Spam, abusive language, or repeated off-topic discussions.
- Any behavior that would be considered unprofessional in an open-source project.
This Code of Conduct applies to all project spaces, including:
- GitHub Issues
- Pull Requests
- Discussions
- Documentation
- Source code contributions
- Project-related social media and community discussions
- Any other official communication channels for HR Skills
It also applies when an individual is officially representing the HR Skills project.
Project maintainers are responsible for maintaining a welcoming and productive environment.
Maintainers may:
- Edit or remove comments that violate this Code of Conduct.
- Close issues or pull requests that are abusive or intentionally disruptive.
- Reject contributions that do not align with the project's standards.
- Temporarily or permanently restrict participation when necessary to protect the community.
Moderation decisions will be made fairly and with the goal of preserving a respectful collaboration environment.
If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it by contacting Tuan Duc Tran.
Reports will be reviewed as promptly as possible. We will respect the privacy of everyone involved whenever practical.
Maintainers may take actions based on the severity and frequency of violations.
For minor or unintentional violations, maintainers may provide a friendly reminder explaining the expected behavior.
For repeated or more serious violations, contributors may receive a formal warning.
Contributors who repeatedly violate this Code of Conduct may temporarily lose the ability to participate in project discussions or submit contributions.
Serious harassment, discrimination, abusive behavior, or repeated violations after previous enforcement actions may result in permanent removal from the project.
