We want NextDNS Skills to be a precise, welcoming, and safe project for contributors with different backgrounds and levels of experience. Participants should communicate in good faith, assume positive intent while addressing evidence, and focus criticism on the work rather than the person.
Unacceptable behavior includes harassment, discrimination, threats, deliberate disclosure of private information, credential or account-data exposure, doxxing, sexualized conduct in project spaces, and disruptive behavior that prevents others from contributing. This standard applies to issues, pull requests, code review, discussions, commits, documentation, and agent-generated project artifacts.
Report a concern privately through the repository's configured security or maintainer channel. Do not include private credentials, DNS logs, cookies, or other sensitive material in a public issue. Maintainers may edit, remove, reject, or restrict participation in content that violates this standard or creates a security risk.
Reports should include enough context to reproduce the behavior without exposing private data. Maintainers should respond proportionately, preserve confidentiality, and explain public decisions without disclosing sensitive report details.
A disagreement about a technical decision is healthy when it is grounded in evidence and handled respectfully. Use the repository's contribution guide and documentation standards to make decisions traceable and useful to future contributors.
