Response to a Submission

I was wondering how do i respond to a submission(ask). I have been able to display all of the submissions from my inbox fine. I been able to post on my blog, but I don't know how to respond to the submissions. Am i missing a function that is really obvious?

OK i can respond to it, thanks to looking at some chatbots that people made with C. I need to know how to reply with an image. I make a post WITH an image via code, but when i try to apply that via answer/ask/submission it doesnt' work.
