GLIBC_2.28 is required for rhel8

Describe the bug
I am on rhel8 and for fedramp compliance reasons can not update to rhel9, the GLIBC_2.34 requirement is not one rhel8 can make.

Steampipe version (steampipe -v)
v1.1.2 through 1.1.4

Expected behavior
to call the rhel8 GLIBC which is 2.28 i believe.

Hi @wargamesqcf, unfortunately, Steampipe requires glibc version 2.34 or higher. It is not supported on systems with an older glibc version - https://steampipe.io/docs/faq/overview#supported-linux-distributions

The glibc 2.34 dependency was added in Steampipe v2.0.0. So you might try using v1.1.3 or older.

Another alternative could be to use a containerised environment to run Steampipe; a lot of our users do this already.

Or try using Turbot Pipes (free for developers). Steampipe is a part of a larger ecosystem of products - Pipes that provide a flexible platform on which to build rich intelligence, automation & security solutions.

I have uninstalled and rolled back to 1.1.2 and 1.1.3, issue persists, I am constrained by the fedramp process and can not update my os till the government approves rhel9.
