Deeper look at Corneal gem for Sinatra scaffold, and adapt it for API-only usage

As a student, I want to get into Sinatra in an easier way to set up an API in Mod 3. The Corneal gem sets up a decent scaffolding of a Sinatra project, but doesn't set it up for exposing an API but rather sets it up for HTML views.
