Getting error while installing turso cli on my windows machine

Even after installing through WSL I'm still getting the error Error: failed to open auth URL: exec: "xdg-open,x-www-browser,www-browser": executable file not found in $PATH. Working with turso is nearly impossible on windows.

Found a fix for this error here and I'm no longer getting the error but even after a "successful" installation and authentication, I'm still getting turso: command not found afterwards.

@Taylors15 How did you get it to install through WSL? I'm not familiar at all with it. I tried running

wsl curl -sSfL https://get.tur.so/install.sh | bash

But this throws syntax error near unexpected token 'c'

However, when I just open bash and run the installer, I get the following:

Operating system MINGW64_NT-10.0-22631 is not supported by this installation script

Very odd, and annoying. I searched high and low for the database backend I was going to use for a new project... And can't get the darn thing installed.

Same problem here, it's not comfortable to work with Turso on Windows.

The MinGW/Git Bash "Operating system … is not supported" failure is fixed by tursodatabase/turso-install#19, which recognizes Windows hosts and installs turso.exe. Native PowerShell install:

irm https://get.tur.so/install.ps1 | iex

(after that PR is merged and a Windows release is published from #1058)
