How to increase font size in desktop linux?

Currently there's no way to increase font size directly. You can however increase zoom level which will make the font bigger.
On linux, zoom level can be changed using the scroll wheel while holding down Ctrl.

Currently, Ctrl +/- is not implemented on linux. Though I agree that would be useful. So there's an issue for it now :) #8749
As for changing the font size, it has been discussed and it is in our backlog, though it is unlikely to be implemented soon.
