It would be nice to have a deb built, signed and maintained by the Tuta team. I assume it would give users encountering the issue with AppImages being sandboxed [1] an nice alternative. [1] #1565 |

Although convenient, I'm not a big fan of appImage files.
So, I decided to build and package the latest release for Debian (and derivates that use deb).
If you are interested to try it out, it is in our SolydXK repo.
You can download it here:
https://repository.solydxk.com/pool/upstream/t/tutanota/
As I am a Tuta user myself I will build and update the package on each release, but it would be better if Tuta would have its own repository.
