Ipad: burger menu is displayed after switching apps and is stuck

What happened?

Open Tuta Mail app > Swipe up to access app switcher > Switch to another app > Swipe up to access app switcher > Switch to Tuta Mail app again > Burger menu is displayed but unresponsive

However, the buttons that are hidden by this burger menu can be pressed, for example clicking on an email that is hidden by the burger menu will be open.

Other context

This bug was noticed after updating to iOS 26.2.1.
