Smart switch doesn't work because returning power to the unit doesn't cause it to check if it falls during a scheduled period where it should be on/off. It would only fall back into the schedule when the next event hits. Even Assistant Relay wouldn't work because I could send a signal to turn it on when I get home but I don't necessarily want that if it's out of schedule or if the exterior temperature is above a certain threshold. Looks like official support is the only way forward! |

I'm new to HASSIO in general, but I've got it up and running and have added the Tuya V2 integration. My smart fireplace valve (https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07WGK9N7J/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_CB2K8FDFVTGFZXQG26K2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) was discovered but I cannot control it. I guess because it's not yet supported? Any workarounds?
As a general workaround, I was thinking of putting it linked to a smart switch to control power to it or trying Assistant Relay to control on/off (it is available on Google Home), but I would rather direct integration. I have tried localtuya as well, no luck.
