Navigation Menu on Apps

Hey,

Many apps nowadays use some sort of a navigation icon, that when clicked on, opens a sidebar menu. I think it's better to have this rather than the tab bar that sits permanently on the bottom of the screen.

I think it will be merge soon but this PR (#689) have to be fetch and rebase by the contributor
