Show associated Company in global search results for People

Scope & Context

When searching for a Person via the global search (Cmd/Ctrl+K), only the person's name is shown. The associated Company is not displayed, making it hard to disambiguate people with the same name or to quickly confirm you found the right contact.

Current behavior

Search results for People show only: Icon, Name.

Expected behavior

Search results for People should additionally show the linked Company name as secondary/subtitle information, e.g.:

John Doe (Acme Corp)

Why

• Faster disambiguation when multiple people share the same name
• Reduces need to open the record just to confirm the company context
• Matches behavior of other CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot) where company context is shown inline in search

This is harder to do than it seems because everything is abstracted (no rule is hardcoded). So we would need to introduce a new concept like "secondary description identifier" than would point to a field (like we have label identifier currently)

Can we just show the relations there instead? For example Company → People is a many-to-one relation so a person can belong to only one company. Can we just show the many-to-one relations in the filtered items?

I like the idea to link to any fields, depending on the user need, it could be the company (or companies, for some user they could target people working for 2 or more companies in the same time) or other helping field (such as mail, phone, number of deals attached, etc.).

I don't know your architecture, but when you search (or a field is searching) a person, the search engine should show a tuple with the indexed data as primary data shown, but if it gives you a tuple, then you can show others fields that come with that tuple. No data in it? It could show "No data" for that. Eg:

• Felix Malfait (Twenty)
• Elon Musk (Tesla, SpaceX, X)
• Random Guy (no data)
