Connecting timeout might be too short

Thanks for this repo! I cloned it, but discovered that the CONNECTION_TIME_OUT_MS variable of 10 milliseconds wasn't long enough to establish a connection to handle a transaction consistently. Increasing it to a few seconds did the job. :)
