JK-BMS Esphome and Homeseer

Hi,

I am trying to use this with Homeseer through MQTT. I am reasonably successful but have one main problem. MQTT messages are send every 8 seconds. This is slowing down the homeseer system and sometimes lock it up. Is there a possibility to slow this down. I have been looking in the source code, but I have to admit that this is over my head.
