Can quantities of diferent dimensions be mixed together?

Maybe I haven't grokked the API but, is it possible to mix quantities of different dimensions?

Say that I have a CSV with some prices from a catalog. Some prices will be expressed in kilograms, others in meters, etc. Say I have this catalog:

item	quantity	price
rope	1m	3$
meat	1kg	6$

In my CSV reader what would be the type of column quantity, Quantity[A <: Quantity[A]] ???
And how would I create a specialized parser that is able to read meters and kilograms?
