question: seems like functions and constructors are still called when doing plain-to-class transformation

I am experiencing exactly the same issue as described here #494
ie. new random objectId gets created if I am not using the fix mentioned on the fix above.

#494 (comment) here it's written that this shouldn't be the case anymore but I am still experiencing it on the latest version of the class-transformer.

class-transformer version is v0.5.1

I'm experiencing the same issue, here is how to reproduce the problem:

import { plainToInstance } from 'class-transformer';
import { Types } from 'mongoose';
import { ObjectId } from 'mongodb';

class User {
  public _id: Types.ObjectId;
  public name: string;
}

const userData = {
  _id: new ObjectId(),
  name: "John Doe"
}

const user = plainToInstance(User, userData);

console.log(userData) // { _id: new ObjectId("648a9700337b27ff870dcbe3"), name: 'John Doe' }
console.log(user) // User { _id: new ObjectId("648a9700337b27ff870dcbe4"), name: 'John Doe' }
